It’s T minus four days until Thanksgiving (eek!!!) and I’m already jumping out of my socks with excitement.
Thanksgiving is the one holiday Aaron and I host in our LA apartment, and we go BIG.
Like… I wake up and immediately pop into the kitchen & start cookin, big.
First, we tackle the appetizer spread for the day. We always have a veggie platter with dip, a charcuterie tray with lots of delicious cured meats, and cheese spread of some type with crackers. On top of that, we’ll usually include another bite-sized protein app that requires some cooking, a bowl of something easy to snack on, and, of course, black olives.
Once the appetizers are out, it’s a fun day of cooking, mulled wine, movies, board games, and laughter, capped off with an AMAZING dinner & desserts galore. (Can you tell I’m obsessed with this holiday??)
Last year I shared my Thanksgiving menu with you all, and now I’ve decided to make it an annual tradition. I mean, might as well share the inspiration.
I’d also love to hear what you’re making! What’s your favorite dish or can’t-miss appetizer?? Maybe it will appear in my spread next year 🙂
Slow Cooker Mulled Apple Cider (mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with red wine for a boozy drink)
Breakfast the next morning:
Monte Cristo Strata with Fresh Fruit
